Dr. Anna Hultin Stigenberg is Senior Director of Advanced Research infrastructures at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, an innovation partner with 2900 employees active in international collaborations with industry, academia and the public sector.  Her most recent position was VP Strategic Research at RISE.

She holds a PhD in Materials science from KTH, Stockholm and has almost 30 years of industrial experience. A main thread in her career has been the interface between R&D and the business side, mainly from various senior positions at the global engineering company Sandvik. She has also experience from leadership of a scale-up venture unit as well as of strategic change initiatives.

She has for many years been active in the Research & Innovation Community and have experience from various boards and committees both on company level and for public funded research collaborations on both national and EU-level.  Some examples are chair of the Materials Science & Engineering committee at Swedish Foundation of Strategic Research, SSF, vice chair of the Executive Board of EIT KIC Raw Materials in Berlin and member of the boards of RISE AB and Arcam AB. Anna had also a leading role the preparation stage of EIT Raw Materials as well as in the team of EIT Manufacturing.
