César Águia (born 1982) studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Porto, Engineering Faculty (Portugal, 2000-2005). He received is Ph.D. also from the University of Porto (on 2011), on Chemical Engineering under the topic of Photocatalysis.

He joined TMG Automotive (2011) in the R&D Department, being involved in explorative research for the industrialization of disruptive solutions. He was then project manager for BMW/Mini´s new materials at the company and is now Technical and R&D Manager.

His scientific and technological interests align with all the key enabling technologies, especially the ones possibly allowing the future industrialization of Sustainable products and Integration of functions in automotive interiors, two of the clearest megatrends in this market.
