Manfred Mühlberger studied physics at the technical university Vienna. He is founded ETA Umweltmanagement in 1994, is one of the leading consulting companies in the field of sustainable development and environmental management, based in Vienna, Austria. A current focus is the transformation towards a circular economy where Manfred is supporting the development of the Circular Economy Forum Austrian and the creation of a “circular acceleration house” supporting businesses in the transition process.

Manfred is also chairman of the board of ecopreneur.eu, the European sustainable business association with members in 6 European countries representing 3.500 companies. Ecopreneur is lobbying at the EU level for an ambitious transformation towards a circular economy.
