Ms. Renata Kaps works, since April 2020, in the area of emerging and legacy water contaminants in urban water cycles and as a co-coordinator of the inter-institutional Cluster at the Faculty of Civil Engineering titled “Water risks and security”. Before she joined TU Wien, she worked for nearly ten years for the European Commission, mainly in the Joint Research Centre in Seville, the Circular Economy and Industrial Leadership unit, but also in the Directorate General for the Environment, where she supported temporarily work of the Sustainable Production and Consumption Unit mainly in the implementation of the sustainable product policy instruments. She graduated and defended her PhD in the area of environmental assessment at the University of Economic in her home town Poznań, Poland.
