Head of Materials Engineering Italy. Vito is responsible of Materials Engineering department at FIAT Research Center (CRF) within the global materials engineering, methods and tools group (MEMT). He holds an engineering degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Politecnico of Torino, 1994. Vito has worked at CRF since 1994 contributing in the development of several automotive prototypes in the field of green & multifunctional polymers, composites, advanced surfaces and smart materials. Currently, he is managing materials engineering for new vehicles development for all class of materials, polymeric, metals and surface; he is following activities from pre-competitive research to final applications and he is contributing in different EU and Italian projects on polymers and composites for automotive components: coordinator of ReInvent and technical CRF coordinator of LIBRE, PLASTICIRCLE and LIFE projects (PlasPlus and Green Vulcan).
